External Insulation involves enveloping the outside of your walls in a blanket of rigid insulation. This is subsequently covered in 2 ‘Maite’ coats (adhesive), mesh and finally a 10mm coat of render.

Although we can supply and fit an Acrylic Render, we always advise the use of a Mineral Render system as it is breathable and this is important to avoid moisture build-up inside the render.

The process also involves the extension of windowsills, the extension of flues, the replacement of downpipes and gutters etc and it will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks form scaffolding erection to clean-up. We also take our waste with us so your home will be left spotless.
